This book is a delight! Even as an adult, it is refreshing to wander the pages and travel back to that magical innocence of childhood. It is perfect for a bed-time story and won't conjure up any 'monsters or scary things' in a child's sleep. How lovely is it to see your grand-kids engrossed in the fantasy of talking animals and see the smiles on their faces as they eagerly turn the page for the next adventure.
I would definitely recommend this book to any parent. It's fresh, it's new and has that lovely 'old fashioned feel' of our books of long ago.
