Enjoyable read

Dark Gold is an enjoyable story. Geoff Lynn cleverly ties together some romance, humorous asides and enough mystery to satisfy anyone who likes to be both entertained and enlightened when they read.

Good book

This is a riot of a book. Geoff Lynn has capably merged the two main stories, Laura's death and the coin mystery into a smooth flowing and really fun read. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Believable characters in an exciting tale of mystery and intrigue.

Dark Gold is a fast moving, multi-faceted story by this new writer. His characters come to life as they solve the mystery of the ancient sunken ship that starts this tale. We follow Dunn and his younger sidekick, the handsome Ellis unravel the many strands of the plot involving murder and mayhem. The many twists and turns keep you guessing till the end. Highly recommended.

Loved the book, couldn't put it down! Just when you think the story has finished, it continues with more drama. The characters are believable and interesting. I found the book made me giggle once or twice but at one point almost moved me to tears. Looking forward to reading more Inspector Dunn and Sergeant Ellis murder mysteries.
